Medical Branch (GDMOs) – SPSSC
Eligibility Criteria:

Qualification Required:
MBBS with minimum 1st Division from a Pakistani or foreign medical college/university recognized by PMDC, having completed minimum one year house job in an institution recognized by PMDC. Preference will be given to those who have relevant experience after house job.
Important Note: Candidates having cleared FCPS-I after December 24 are also eligible to apply.

The comprehensive selection process includes:

Registration Issues:
- Registered by ISSB / GHQ / NHQ / AHQ Selection Boards
- Twice rejected by ISSB for Post Graduate Entry
- Twice rejected by ISSB for intermediate/Graduate (PMA/Graduate) and once rejected by ISSB or GHQ/NHQ/AHQ based selection boards
- Once rejected by ISSB for intermediate/Graduate and twice rejected by ISSB or GHQ/NHQ/AHQ based selection boards
- Twice screened out by ISSB
Dismissal/Removal:
- Dismissed, removed, or debarred from government services including Armed Forces
Previous Military Service:
- Those who already have served in Pakistan Armed Services except waiver granted by competent authority. However, bar will continue if candidates resign/withdraw from NHQ/AHQ Selection Boards
Legal Issues:
- Convicted in a Court of Law for any heinous offense
- Permanently declared UNFIT by Appeal Medical Board (PUF by AMB)
Medical Conditions:
- Declared medically unfit due to Hepatitis B & C (AMB cannot be reevaluated)
Evaluation Grounds:
- Withdrawn from PAF/Army/Navy/Air Force/Armed Forces colleges on evaluation or disciplinary grounds
Resignation/Purchase:
- Withdrawn, discharged, resigned, or purchase release from any Armed Forces Officers Academy/Training Institution on any ground
Academic Issues:
- Nonpassing of academic certificate/forgery/concealment in educational certificates
Permanent Commission:
- Those who are permanently ineligible for all types of commission in Armed Forces
Preliminary Selection:
- Those screened out by Army/Navy/Air Force during preliminary selection
